The board below displays research associated with reconnecting people to nature. During Covid-19 it was increasingly important for people to get outside and share experiences with loved ones in natural environments. Each of the 3 projects covered in 4 weeks focussed on either 'decreasing loneliness', 'reducing stress' or 'encouraging exploration'

Walk For You
Walk for you enables older people with limited mobility to experience nature from their dogs perspective in the comfort of their own home. This panoramic experience would allow viewers to feel immersed in nature and provide them with control what they see and take photographs and view a map of their dogs route. This encourages independence and involves them in their pet's care.

Nature Capsule
Transports people from the stresses of everyday life and reconnects them with the outside world by lying back ani8mmersing themselves in the water installation.

Invent-a-boat
Encourages children to embrace the great outdoors and be resourceful. With the kit containing instructions, scissors, string, plasticine and a motor, children can venture into the wild and use found objects to construct their own boat.
